Why are families unable to properly feed their children?

Venezuela is going through the worst economic crisis in its history, with an inflation rate above 300% per month and with a monthly minimum wage that barely amounts to $3 US dollars. These factors, united with the current food scarcity, makes it almost impossible for parents to meet their home’s minimum food requirements necessary for the proper nourishment of its members.

Who is implementing this campaign?

Three Venezuelan students, all members of the Regnum Christi movement, that wanted to make this apostolate their university graduation thesis. Together with the Mano Amiga institute, they developed all the analysis necessary to evaluate the needs and define the conditions for the campaign. All donated money will be directly deposited in the Pay Pal account belonging to Mano Amiga Corp; and from then on will be used at the school’s discretion.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes. Each donation receives a receipt issued by Paypal, which demonstrates that your donation was issued towards a non-profit organization, which qualifies it to be tax deductible in the US.
